  1. A cooling tower is designed to remove heat from a building or facility by spraying water down through the tower to exchange heat into the inside of the building. Air comes in from the sides of the tower and passes through the falling water.

  2. A cooling tower is a device that rejects waste heat to the atmosphere through the cooling of a coolant stream, usually a water stream to a lower temperature.

  3. Cooling towers may either use the evaporation of water to remove process heat and cool the working fluid to near the wet-bulb air temperature or, in the case of dry cooling towers, rely solely on air to cool the working fluid to near the dry-bulb air temperature using radiators.

  • Main Features

  1. Small floating water rate: the spray device is evenly distributed in the tower, and the outlet area is about twice as large as that of the traditional power tower, so the wind speed is small. At the same time, the top of the tower is installed with excellent performance of the water collection device, which minimizes the amount of floating water, and eliminates a lot of water refill.

  2. ​ Good cooling effect: the hot water in the tower exchanges heat with the incoming air under the condition of mist. Due to the small wind resistance in the tower and the reasonable design of air duct and wind blade, the ratio of air to water is improved.

  3. Common applications include cooling the circulating water used in oil refineries, petrochemical and other chemical plants, thermal power stations, nuclear power stations and HVAC systems for cooling buildings. The classification is based on the type of air induction into the tower: the main types of cooling towers are natural draft and induced draft cooling towers.
