Cooling methods in plastic extrusion processing
There are various cooling methods in plastic extrusion processing, common ones include: water cooling, air cooling, vacuum cooling, etc.
1.Water cooling is the most commonly used method. It can cool the extruded plastic material by setting a water cooler under the die head and passing the cooling water through the die head.
2.Gas cooling reduces the temperature of the plastic by blowing cooling gas to the plastic material.
3.Vacuum cooling is to install a vacuum pump above the die head to move the extruded plastic material into a vacuum chamber for cooling.
